As they had decided, this mission was far too dangerous for a young boy. So, the two heroes dropped him off in nearby Arizona, at The Temple of The Pineapple. It was a large pyramid-shaped stone structure, with stairs up either side and a giant carving of a pineapple at the top.
"Sorry, kid, but this is too dangerous," explained Pineapple Man.
"But, go up to the top and you can meet The Great Pineapple," said Captain Pineapple.
"Okay, see you guys later," said the kid.
So they left. He went up to the top and in a set of doors. At the end of a short hall, was a giant floating pineapple behind glass, about six feet tall.
"Who enters the presence of The Great Pineapple?" said a booming voice.
"Uh... me,"
"Oh, yes, now I recognize you. You are my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson." said The Great Pineapple.
"What? But you're a pineapple!" said the boy in shock.
"Yes, that is true. You have evolved from me. You have pineapple in your blood. My boy, you have powers. You have just not figured out how to use them yet. That's why the pineapple cured your stomach. It was your powers. When it is of essence to use them, you will figure out how to control them." said The Great Pineapple.
"Can't you just tell me now?"
"That, I cannot. But I shall tell you this: about your new friends, Pineapple Man and Captain Pineapple. I foresee something, and that is that they are not good truly at heart. The test of goodness that comes straight from the heart, is under a great temptation of bad. Your friends will not resist this chance to be evil, which is coming soon. They are not truly good, but, I shall give you this. It is the Pineapple Juice of Justice. Inject them with it, and it will bring them justice and make them truly good."
"Ummm, okay, I think. Thanks giant pineapple dude," replied the kid.
"No problemo, senor."
So the kid had the Pineapple Juice of Justice, and went to find Captain Pineapple and Pineapple Man.
