25 years later...
Three brothers were on a trip to the Temple of the Pineapple in the year 2010. They walked into the temple, and saw the Great Pineapple, just the way he was when Captain Pineapple saw him last. Nobody knew why he was their, for the great legend of the pineapple was only a faint memory to the few people who had witnessed parts of the story.
But the boys were unknowingly related to Captain Pineapple and Pineapple Man. Their parents were long-lost cousins of the old heroes. So as they walked back outside, they passed over the spot where Captain Pineapple ended it all.
At first, just a shiver went down their spines. Then, they all shivered simultaneously. They started feeling like some sort of energy was coursing through their bodies. Then the feeling in their legs disappeared, and they collapsed. The energy grew stronger, and they laid there for ten minutes. Then it stopped. They stood up, and when they did, they had the powers of the pineapple.
The legend would live on.
